Uniquely positioned in rolling countryside, close to the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District, Bowland Fell is the ideal destination for lovers of the great outdoors.

With more than 130 acres to explore, plus access to the nearby Forest of Bowland, this holiday park is perfect for walking, cycling and spotting wildlife, and has also been recognised as a Dark Sky location, making it the perfect place for stargazing.

The park itself offers a range of self-catering options including luxury holiday lodges, caravan holiday homes and luxury holiday apartments, all of which are finished to a high standard.

On-park features include a beautifully refurbished 17th-century Crowtrees Inn pub and restaurant, a heated indoor pool, a park shop and children's play areas.

Bowland Fell gives holidaymakers the opportunity to drink in the spectacular views, walk the hills and visit dozens of idyllic destinations nearby, including chocolate-box villages and top attractions – it really is the complete package!

Settle to Carlise Railway
The Settle to Carlisle railway is one of the world's greatest rail journeys. The 73-mile-long line carves its way through the magnificent landscape of the Yorkshire Dales and then descends to Cumbria's lush green Eden Valley with its views of the Pennines and Lakeland Fells. Visitors have plenty of choice of when to travel, and the opportunity to board and leave the train at many of the beautifully preserved stations along the route.
Clitheroe Canoe Club
A family-run, non-profit organisation based in Chatburn, Clitheroe Canoe Club offer recreational and competitive canoe lessons to people of all ages and abilities.
Dunsop Bridge
Dunsop Bridge is the entrance to the Trough of Bowland; a small but beautiful village that is officially the centre of the British Isles. The village is a popular spot for walkers to start or end their walk.
Bancroft Mill Engine Museum
Bancroft Mill is dedicated to preserving and maintaining the towns link to the cotton trade. Here you can see the largest working mill steam engine in Lancashire.
Thornton Hall Farm
The perfect family day out! Filled with hands-on animal encounters, indoor and outdoor play, plus unique special events.
Malham Cove
Malham Cove is an impressive white limestone formation over 200ft high. This sheer rock face is a popular challenge for keen walkers and climbers who are rewarded with breath-taking views from the top.
Pendle Hill
Pendle Hill, most famous for its involvement in the 1612 witch trials, can be seen for miles around. Those that reach the top will be rewarded with incredible views!
Clitheroe Castle
Overlooking the town of Clitheroe and offering views across the Ribble Valley, Clitheroe Castle is a great day out for the whole family with an informative museum telling the 800 year old history of the castle.
Ingleborough Caves
Follow in the footsteps of early Victorian explorers on an exciting journey venturing 500 metres underground into one of the UK's most jaw-dropping natural wonders.
Forest of Bowland Fishing
Pay the price of a day ticket and gain access to the crystal-clear, fast-flowing rivers of Bowland and enjoy some of England's best game fishing for trout and salmon.

Full refurbishment of restaurant & holiday apartments

New in 2023

In 2023 we undertook a number of exciting projects to boost our guest’s experience at Bowland Fell. From a brand-new reception and sales office to a full refurbishment of the Crowtree Inn restaurant which included a new warm and friendly environment enhancing the original character of the building. In the warmer months, guest enjoyed the new external drinking and dining space, the perfect place to spend quality time catching up with family and friends. Our holidaymakers also enjoyed the new look of our 4 luxury holiday apartments after a full refurbishment.
