Fishing is a relaxing activity to do on your own, with your partner, or with friends. We have numerous parks across the UK with access to lake and sea fishing, so you won’t be short of options.
As you probably know, you’ll need a fishing licence to fish inland. If you haven’t already got one, they’re available from the government website. You’ll also need to buy a day ticket for fishing lakes, which are available from the reception of your chosen holiday park.

Discover fishing in Cornwall
Four of our stunning holiday parks in Cornwall have fantastic local and on-park fishing facilities. Bodmin and Hengar Manor, located near Padstow, both have three fully stocked lakes on its premises, where visitors can fish from sunrise to sunset. Trevella, situated near Crantock Beach and Newquay, also boasts two on-site fishing lakes that are fully stocked and available for everyone to enjoy. Oyster Bay Coastal & Country Retreat, situated in the picturesque village of Goonhavern, is only a 7-minute drive from two well-equipped fishing lakes at Gwinear Camping & Fishing. Immerse yourself in the stunning scenery and endless local activities.

For those who enjoy sea fishing, we have three South Devon Caravan Holiday Parks located near the beaches. You can choose from Waterside in Paignton, or Golden Sands and Dawlish Sands in Dawlish Warren. The South Devon coast is known for its bass, mackerel, and wrasse fishing, while the estuaries provide an excellent spot for mullet fishing. If you prefer coarse fishing, Golden Sands has a small lake where you can catch carp, tench, roach, rudd, and crucian carp; holiday home owners at Dawlish Sands are also welcome to take advantage of this facility.
Tarka Holiday Park is an ideal coastal retreat that offers easy access to many activities and stunning locations of North Devon. With five beaches located within 10 miles of the park, as well as the famous Tarka Trail, which offers excellent opportunities for coarse fishing.
Discover fishing in Dorset
Dorset is renowned for its spectacular Jurassic Coast and sandy beaches. It is also a popular destination for fishing enthusiasts in the UK. We have two parks located in Dorset that offer fantastic fishing facilities. One of them is Sandhills Holiday Park which is situated next to Mudeford Quay by the Christchurch Harbour, with Avon Beach located in front of it. This setting provides a picturesque view. You can enjoy sea fishing from the front of the park and harbour fishing for mullet and bass from the back. The park is near Hampshire Avon and Dorset Stour rivers. Fishing is available at The Royalty and Throop for barbel and chub, and nearby lakes offer carp fishing with day tickets.
Wood Farm is an ideal destination for those who enjoy a leisurely walk to an on-park fishing lake. This park boasts a private fishing lake where visitors can unwind and enjoy the serene surroundings.

Oaklands Holiday Park, near Clacton, provides ample carp and other coarse fishing opportunities, such as tench, roach, bream, perch, and rudd in their private lake. The parks proximity to the estuary and St Osyth makes it an ideal location for sea fishing.
St Osyth Beach, Martello Beach and Seawick, also located near Clacton, provide the perfect combination of sea and coarse fishing. You can enjoy beach; fishing with direct access to the shore and boat launching facilities from a slipway. There's also a small coarse fishing lake available at St Osyth Beach. An ideal location for anglers of all ages, especially beginners, as there are plenty of fish species such as rudd, roach, tench, carp up to 10lb, and perch.
Steeple Bay, in Southminster offers a picturesque location on the estuary of River Blackwater. With beach fishing and a private slipway, it's excellent for sea fishing enthusiasts. Additionally, there's a charming small lake with an abundance of small carp, roach, rudd, tench, and bream, providing an excellent opportunity for family-friendly fishing right by your Essex caravan holiday home.
Dovercourt in Harwich is a fantastic location for those interested in fishing, as it offers both seaside fishing opportunities as well as a park lake stocked with various types of fish, including carp and freshwater fish. With all of our Kent Holiday Parks located close to the sea, you will never be far from a spot of sea fishing. In North Kent, we have Harts on the Isle of Sheppey, plus Seaview and Alberta near the famous town of Whitstable.
In South Kent, New Beach and Marlie, are close to the Royal Military Canal which has a healthy stock of bream, tench, carp, and roach. No matter what kind of fishing trip you are planning in Kent, you're bound to find something that suits your needs.

Chichester Lakeside Holiday Park is one of our favourite fishing parks, with anglers visiting from all over the country to enjoy the variety of lakes offered. The park boasts 10 lakes, ranging from 2 to 28 acres, home to a range of fish such as carp, tench and silverfish.
Coghurst Hall is a stunning fishing spot situated in a secluded valley just outside Hastings. The large lake has a good stock of carp up to 20 lbs and roach, rudd, tench, and bream. Sand Le Mere Holiday Park is an excellent spot for fishing, catering to both seasoned and novice anglers. Boasting a fully stocked freshwater fishing lake on-site, it's an ideal location for anglers of all abilities.
