Music festival-goers are spoilt for choice in the UK, with a huge range of festivals dotted all over the country. Whatever genre of music you’re into, there’s a music festival to get you grooving.
We’ve listed some of the very best music festivals below (some of which are ideally located near our holiday parks – a perfect place to crash overnight!)
Boomtown Fair
If you’re looking for weird and wonderful, then you’ll certainly find that at Boomtown! Typically held at the beginning of August each year and located near Winchester, the festival showcases a range of music genres, among some brilliantly quirky surroundings.

Closest Holiday Park: Solent Breezes – 23 miles
Victorious Festival
Another festival typically held in August (at least we’re more likely for better weather then, right?). You can choose to go all out and camp for the weekend, or if you prefer, attend for just the day. Previous acts have included Kaiser Chiefs, The Prodigy, Rita Ora, and Stereophonics.
Southsea, Hampshire
Closest Holiday Park: Solent Breezes – 17 miles
Eklectica
Just across The Solent, set in the stunning woodlands of Robin Hill Country Park on The Isle of Wight, Eklectica hosts a whole load of top-of-the-chart acts. This boutique music festival usually runs near the beginning of September over three days and is sure to give you a fantastic time!

Let's Rock Exeter!
Set in the grounds of Powderham Castle, this 80s-themed festival prides themselves on being family-friendly and have something to keep everyone entertained. Each year they bring a fabulous line up of artists to bring you the best of the 80s, plus general neon-clad fun for everyone!

Bestival
Bestival is one of the UK’s biggest and most famous music festivals. Popular for its hugely diverse line-ups, Bestival also welcomes creativity by having a running theme each year (the perfect excuse to dress up) and includes comedy, theatre, circus and art for all to enjoy. Bestival was sadly cancelled for 2019, but here’s to hoping it makes a comeback for 2020!

Latitude
This annual music festival is set in the beautiful Henham Park in Southwold. It welcomes thousands of festival-goers each year who are ready to enjoy the laid-back atmosphere, world-class comedy, theatre, and music it has to offer. It even has a sanctuary of wellbeing, where you can relax amongst ambient soundscapes or get involved with some yoga.

FolkEast
Surrounded by ancient parkland, this festival brings a ‘hippy-ish’ vibe, showcasing a number of quirky acts. Bringing together a mix of music and culture in a unique combination of folk singers, crafts and delicious food, it’s the ideal festival those that want to experience something a little different.

Closest Holiday Park: Carlton Meres – 7 miles
City Sound Project
Set in the heart of Canterbury, this metropolitan music festival showcases some of the best and upcoming artists from the UK and further afield. Previous acts include the likes of Artful Dodger, Wretch 32, and White Lies.

Ramblin' Man Fair
If you’re into rock, then this one’s for you! A fairly new festival, now in its fifth year, Ramblin’ Man has already been described by Classic Rock magazine as “the best new festival in Britain”. Grab your tent and wellies and ‘rock out’ at this all weekend!
Mote Park, Canterbury
Closest Holiday Park: Harts– 24 miles
Love Supreme
This relaxed, family-friendly festival is set in the Sussex countryside and brings you all the best in jazz music. Previous acts have included The Jackson 5, Nao, and Kelis. Offering glamping, above-average festival food options, and wellbeing sessions, this festival can attract even the most reluctant festival goers.

Boundary
Brighton's biggest electronic music festival brings all the best of dance and bass music across its three stages. Back for the fourth time this September, headliners include the likes of Chase & Status, CamelPhat, and Meduza.
